Refuse Loader

We’re recruiting Refuse Loaders to work across the Fareham area, supporting household waste collections throughout the borough. This is a physically active role where you’ll be on your feet and walking up to 8 miles a day, so a good level of fitness is essential.
You’ll be based out of the Fareham depot with early morning starts. When on standby, you must be able to reach site within 30–45 minutes following an early morning call. Shifts are allocated weekly, with standby availability required on remaining days to support operational needs at short notice.
This is a task-to-finish role, meaning you’ll receive a full day’s pay even if you finish early, a great perk for motivated workers. Full induction and Health & Safety training are provided and paid after your first completed shift. PPE and hi-vis clothing are supplied; safety boots are required.
