Essential Requirements
- Qualified in Level 2 Hairdressing, Level 3 Hairdressing, and Level 3 Barbering
- Experience delivering apprenticeships
Teaching qualification (any of the following):
- Level 3/4/5 Award/Certificate/Diploma in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTTLS/CTTLS/DTTLS)
- Level 3/4/5 Diploma in Education and Training or Certificate in Education
Assessor qualification (any of the following):
- Level 3 Awards/Certificates in Assessment (QCF), A1 (D32/D33)
- Eligible to work in the UK; DBS check may be required
About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Tutor/Assessor to support learners through their Level 2 Diploma in Professional Hairdressing and Level 3 Diploma in Women’s Hairdressing. You will guide learners through both theory and practical sessions and complete assessments across all units, helping each individual achieve their qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver tutoring and assessment for Level 2 and Level 3 Hairdressing programmes
- Support learners with practical and theory-based teaching
- Manage and mentor a group of learners, tracking their progress
- Conduct vocational assessments in line with awarding body requirements

Depending on the role, we may also need to carry out a DBS check in addition to an adverse media / digital search.. Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
