Class 2 Driver Days
Job Description
The ideal candidate must have experience working within airfreight industry and be able to work within a busy fast paced environment, you will need to be self-motivated and have excellent communication skills.
You MUST be able to provide five years’ worth of references from previous employment education and for any gaps over 28days and clean CRB check.
Must have:
· Valid CPC & full driving license
· Previous warehouse/logistics air freight experience
· A "can do" attitude
· Good at listening and assimilating information, be flexible and open minded
· Be able to work overtime if and when required
· Minimum 2 years Class 2 experience
Duties would include although not limited to:
· Loading and unloading vehicles
· Manual Handling
· Checking cargo manifests
· Complete vehicle defects & maintenance forms
· Complete tachographs
· Working to deadlines
· Liaising with night shift supervisor
· Administer security protocols as directed by the security manager
· Ensure health and safety protocols are adhered to
Working Hours:
· Mon - Fri start time between 6:00 / 7:00am
· Guaranteed 50 hours per week
Desirable skills not essential:
· Casp or CO aviation security training (old Level D)
· ADR training
· Dangerous goods experience
· FLT license
