As written by the client...
I am in my first year at Cardiff University studying History. This is a full time degree and it will be my first time living away from home. I am looking for a PA to help me with personal care, academic support and socialising.
I have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), which is a severe, rapidly progressive, muscle wasting, life limiting condition, so I need somebody who is understanding and patient. I am a full time wheelchair user and don’t have the ability to walk, but I won’t let this stop me enjoying the full university experience. Like most students, I will be living in student halls during my time at university, where you will have your own separate room for your own privacy.
I am looking for a PA who is friendly and outgoing and sensible but fun. It’s important to me that you can socialise with my friendship group. If we can get
along, you will certainly get along with my friends like a house on fire! (But please don’t set my house on fire!!!).
