Applications are invited for the above posts based in Pathology at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. These posts are rotational through Histopathology services. The successful candidate may be asked to work at the Western General or Lauriston Buildings sites from time to time.
Successful applicants will contribute to providing comprehensive support to the clinical laboratory service, working effectively as a team member. Candidates should be adaptable, have good interpersonal skills and a professional attitude.
Candidates should also have previous experience of working in an NHS laboratory which is desirable.
Candidates should be educated to SCQF level 8 e.g. HND; or SVQ4; or IBMS Certificate of Achievement Part 2; Personal Development Awards. These are full time posts. For candidates requiring sponsorship you should be aware that the SOC for this role is 3111 Laboratory Technician.
