Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging TikTok/Whatnot Live Host to join our dynamic team. Over 18 only please. This role involves hosting live streaming sessions to showcase products, interact with viewers, and drive engagement across social media platforms. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a vibrant personality, and experience in hospitality or guest services. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about social media, sales, and creating lively online experiences. Must be flexible and able to work weekends.
Duties
- Host live streaming sessions on TikTok and Whatnot, presenting products in an engaging and authentic manner
- Interact with viewers in real-time, answering questions and encouraging participation
- Demonstrate product features clearly and confidently to maximise viewer interest
- Manage live chat to foster a positive community environment
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan content themes and promotional activities
- Maintain a professional appearance and behaviour during live broadcasts
- Assist with post-stream activities such as summarising viewer feedback and preparing reports on engagement metrics
- Tidy away and fold items neatly. Hoover if required.
- Some packing and or running for other hosts may also be required.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is highly desirable, especially roles involving direct customer interaction such as restaurant service or hotel guest relations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively
- Familiarity with social media platforms, particularly TikTok and Whatnot, is advantageous
- Experience in serving or hospitality roles that require phone etiquette and professional demeanour will be beneficial
- Confidence in speaking publicly and presenting products in a lively, approachable manner
- Prior experience hosting live streams or similar online engagements is a plus but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
