We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Inventory Clerk to carry out property inventory reports on behalf of estate agents and private landlords. The role also includes check-out reports, mid-term inspections and Legionella risk assessments. This is a field-based role visiting residential properties and producing professional reports.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Reports
- Conduct detailed property inventories before tenants move in.
- Record the condition of fixtures, fittings, furnishings, décor and cleanliness.
- Take clear photographic evidence to support reports.
- Produce accurate and unbiased reports within deadlines.
Check-Out Reports
- Inspect properties at the end of tenancies.
- Compare condition against the original inventory.
- Document damage, wear and tear, missing items and cleaning issues.
- Provide clear evidence to support deposit decisions.
Mid-Term Inspections
- Carry out routine property inspections during tenancies.
- Identify maintenance issues or tenancy breaches.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to landlords or agents.
- Legionella Risk Assessments
- Conduct residential Legionella risk assessments (training provided).
- Identify potential water system risks and recommend actions.
General Duties
- Travel to multiple properties daily.
- Liaise professionally with tenants, landlords and estate agents.
- Manage appointments and workload efficiently.
- Maintain impartiality and confidentiality at all times.
Skills &* Requirements*
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good written English and report-writing ability.
- Confident using a smartphone or tablet for photos and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
- Professional and polite communication skills.
- Previous property experience is helpful but not required.
