Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated commercial areas, including offices, washrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products to ensure surfaces are sanitised and maintained to high standards.
- Empty bins, dispose of waste responsibly, and replenish supplies such as soap and paper towels.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or contamination.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning tasks to the supervisor promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored correctly after use.
- Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and security when working within client premises.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality standards.
- Driving license is a must due to location.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following instructions carefully.
- Good organisational skills to manage time effectively across multiple sites if required.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities and punctuality.
