Mobile Mechanic / Mobile Fitter – Join Our Growing Team at CCS!
Are you an experienced mechanic looking for a varied role where no two days are the same?
At Car & Commercial Solutions (CCS), we specialise in bespoke vehicle conversions and aftermarket vehicle accessories for commercial vehicles, fleet operators, dealerships and the public sector. Due to continued growth, we're looking for a Mobile Mechanic / Mobile Fitter to join our expanding team.
Working from one of our fully equipped company vehicles, you'll travel to customer sites carrying out installations, repairs and servicing across a range of commercial vehicles and light commercial vans.
What You'll Be Doing
- Fitting towbars and dedicated wiring kits
- Installing parking sensors, reversing cameras and vehicle accessories
- Carrying out vehicle servicing and general mechanical repairs
- Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical faults
- Completing vehicle inspections and maintenance work
- Working both on-site at customer premises and within our workshop when required
- Delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service
- Accurately completing job sheets and paperwork
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Has proven mechanical experience working on cars, vans or commercial vehicles
- Can confidently carry out repairs and fault finding
- Is comfortable working independently using their own initiative
- Has excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Is reliable, professional and takes pride in their work
- Has good communication and customer service skills
- Holds a full UK driving licence (essential)
Experience fitting towbars, parking sensors, vehicle accessories or working with auto electrics would be a distinct advantage but is not essential.
