Event Security Staff – Blenheim Palace Festival 2026
We're recruiting experienced, SIA-licensed security and stewarding staff to work the Blenheim Palace Festival 2026 — a five-day open-air music festival held in the historic Great Court of Blenheim Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Woodstock, Oxfordshire.
Event dates: Live days 27th June – 4th July 2026 (with build and break shifts available from 22nd June – 8th July)
About the role:
You'll be working as part of a large-scale event security operation covering access control, searching, crowd management, perimeter monitoring and incident response, supporting headline performances from artists including Pete Tong, Alanis Morissette, Teddy Swims, Katy Perry and Michael Bublé. The event caters for up to 11,000 guests per day across general admission, hospitality, access and VIP areas.
What you'll be doing:
- Conducting condition-of-entry searches and access control at gates
- Monitoring crowds, aisles, walkways and emergency routes
- Supporting ingress and egress, queue management and wayfinding
- Responding to welfare, medical and safeguarding concerns by escalating promptly
- Maintaining a visible, professional presence to deter crime and anti-social behaviour
- Working calmly and professionally within a historic, high-profile venue
What we're looking for:
- Valid SIA licence (Door Supervisor or equivalent)
- Previous experience in the events/festival sector
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Confidence in de-escalation and physical intervention when required
- A smart, professional appearance and punctual, reliable attitude
- Ability to work outdoors across long shifts in a fast-paced live event environment
