About the Role
We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Workers to provide one-to-one support for a gentleman living with an Acquired Brain Injury.
This rewarding role focuses on promoting independence, encouraging meaningful activities, and supporting the client to live life to the fullest.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting with daily living activities
- Providing personal care
- Promoting independence and community access
- Supporting hobbies and interests, including visiting cafés, going to the gym, watching rugby, and playing board games
- Assisting with meal preparation and cooking
- Driving the client's automatic vehicle to appointments and community activities
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable, and dependable
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Patient, observant, and compassionate
- A confident communicator with good written and verbal communication skills
- In possession of a full UK driving licence and confident driving, including on motorways
- Registered with the DBS Update Service (desirable)
Working Hours
This role operates on a rota that includes weekdays and weekends (24hr shift).
Shift pattern:
- Day Shift: 08:00 – 20:00
- Sleep Shift: 20:00 – 08:00 (including waking night duties 20:00 - 22:30)
This is a non-smoking household; therefore, non-smokers are preferred.

Important Information

Pay: £16.50-£18.50 per hour
