Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team, specialising in various construction and maintenance tasks, experience installing fire doors is crucial to the role. You must be flexible in working across various locations in the UK, mainly the works are located in central London - there may be occasional travel to sites which will require stay away.
The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, including welding, carpentry, masonry, and the ability to operate hand and power tools.

Duties
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques to meet project specifications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment safely and efficiently.
- Carry out carpentry work such as framing, fitting, and finishing.
- Conduct masonry work including bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete applications.
- Assist with roofing installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Handle heavy lifting safely to move materials or equipment as required on-site.
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair machinery or structural elements.
- Support commercial driving duties where necessary, including transporting materials between sites.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently during all operations to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in welding, carpentry, masonry, roofing, or related trades.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools essential for construction tasks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in demanding environments.
- Valid commercial driving licence preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Prior experience in construction or maintenance roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided where necessary.
