Due to continued growth, were looking for a Sales Assistant to join our busy Parkers Building Supplies Hassocks
As a Sales Assistant, youll be the first point of contact for trade and retail customers. Working in a fastpaced builders merchant environment, youll provide product advice, process sales, and help deliver a consistently high level of customer service.

Greet and assist customers in branch and over the phone

Provide accurate advice on products, pricing, and stock availability

Process orders, quotations, returns, and payments (EPOS)

Maintain a clean and wellpresented trade counter

Support stock control within the sales area

Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business

Liaise with yard and warehouse teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment

Experience in a builders merchant, trade counter, or retail role (preferred)

Knowledge of building materials or construction products (desirable)

Strong communication and customer service skills

Proactive, reliable, and teamfocused

Able to work well in a busy environment
