About the Role
Due to continued growth, ZED Developments Ltd is looking for a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our expanding team. We specialise in domestic extensions, renovations, refurbishments, structural alterations, kitchens, bathrooms, roofing works, and general building projects throughout the North East.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced construction environment and wants to be part of a professional team delivering high-quality projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting tradesmen including bricklayers, joiners, plasterers, roofers, and groundworkers.
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials around site.
- Keeping sites clean, organised, and safe at all times.
- Assisting with demolition and strip-out works.
- Excavation and groundwork assistance.
- Mixing materials and preparing work areas.
- Assisting with deliveries and checking materials.
- Erecting and dismantling temporary site protection where required.
- General site maintenance and housekeeping.
- Following instructions from site supervisors and management.
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Previous construction or labouring experience preferred.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Reliable and punctual with excellent attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual work.
- Positive attitude and professional approach.
- Full UK Driving Licence essential.
- Ability to follow health and safety procedures.
- CSCS Card (preferred but not essential for the right candidate).

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
