Job Role: Generator Engineer
Location: Coventry
Salary: £18.00 - £20.00 per hour + Overtime + On-Call Rota
Hours: Monday – Friday Days
Kemp Recruitment are working in partnership with a well-established hire company who are currently looking to recruit an experienced Generator Engineer to join their growing team.

The Role
As a Generator Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a range of JCB generators both in the workshop and at customer sites.
Duties of the Generator Engineer Include:
- Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance on JCB generators
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently
- Fault finding on control panels and AC/DC electrical systems
- Attending breakdowns and carrying out reactive maintenance
- Completing service reports and relevant documentation
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations

Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Generator Engineer is essential
- Experience working on JCB generators would be highly advantageous
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding abilities
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plant, HGV, Agricultural or related engineering discipline desirable
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service
