Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Pub Worker to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders in a professional manner
- Serve food and beverages accurately and promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar, tables, and surrounding areas in accordance with food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions using the till, ensuring correct change is given
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service operations
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables during busy periods
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Provide information about menu items and make recommendations when appropriate
- Support team members to deliver a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is beneficial
- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and customers
