GMP Cleaner – 3 week Rotating Shift Pattern
NOTE ON SELECTION CRITERIA: Candidates able to demonstrate experience of working in factory environments, familiar with strict operating procedures and where their personal circumstances are such that they can commit to the required shift pattern will be prioritised for this role.
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the established Churchill Team as a full time GMP Cleaner, working at a prestigious GMP pharmaceutical site in Cramlington, NE23 area.
You will join a professional, friendly team where the culture and behaviours reflect those which are necessary on a site manufacturing pharmaceutical product.
As a team, achieving our broad variety of service missions whilst maintaining respect for colleagues and all those that we come into contact daily is a key objective of the local Churchill management team based on site.

Site & Job Details
The site is served by local bus routes, offers free parking, an onsite subsidised restaurant, and free vend hot drinks. A uniform and any required PPE is provided free of charge appropriate to your role.
Contractual Hours guaranteed 42.6 hours per week working the following 3-week pattern.
Week 1 Shift 07:00 – 16:00 – M-F
Week 2 Shift 13:00 – 22:00 M-T, 10:00 – 1830 F
Week 3 Shift 22:00 – 07:00 SUN, 22:00 – 07:00 M-T
The role gives the opportunity for regular overtime.
Current Pay rate: £ 14.03 per hour with overtime payable @ £21.4 & Sunday OT @ £28.06 per hour
This role is cleaning GMP production areas to written Procedures to which comprehensive training will be provided. There is a requirement to understand and comply with written instructions and complete paperwork.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the cleaning specified areas allocated to give them ownership over their tasks.
Achieving high standards, you will ensure any task undertaken is carried out safely and in compliance against written operating procedures.
Responsibilities: The role requires:
- The capability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
- Previous basic cleaning experience and knowledge with additional on-site training will be provided.
- Physical capabilities to use cleaning equipment and to operate a basic scrubber drier machine – full training given.
- Some basic IT skills to complete ongoing mandatory online training – support given
- Completion of a comprehensive one-week site induction
