Job Summary
We are seeking a Skilled and Experienced Bench Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fabrication, assembly, and carpentry, with proficiency in hand tools, power tools, and joinery techniques. This role involves building retail displays and furniture. This will include understanding technical drawings, materials, sizes, colours and finishes.
Responsibilities
- Assemble furniture, fittings, and fixtures with precision using appropriate joinery techniques according to detailed drawings
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised machinery safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment to uphold safety standards
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bench Joiner or in a similar carpentry or fabrication role
- Strong knowledge of joinery methods
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised woodworking machinery
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
