The business has and continues to grow rapidly and is in need of a skilled, organised and driven swimming pool engineer. This person could come from the swimming pool industry, or could currently be a plumber operating in a different environment.
Core responsibilities:
Perform swimming pool and spa plumbing and plant service & new installations across the range of projects
Plan and execute work to a high standard, including reading and interpreting drawings and schematics, able to prioritise activities and organise materials orders in good time.
Be conscious of costs, show efforts to reduce costs where reasonably achievable
Trade experience can be either within the industry, or can be an existing plumber in an other industry with an interest to work in a varied, fast moving business
The person:
Organised and methodical, able to prioritise independently
Strong fundamental plumbing experience, able to solve problems
Experience working on large scale projects
Personally driven, able to work effectively and efficiently whether alone or part of a team
Track record of delivery of exceptional levels of work
Must hold valid CSCS/JIB card, valid driving license
Willing to travel
We will consider both permanent and contract hiring, depending on the person.
