we are recruiting 4 x Night Shift Customs agents / TSS Customs officers for our client
They are a well-established customs clearance and trade compliance operation recruiting 4 TSS Night Shift Customs Officers to support its overnight Trader Support Service. These are specialist night positions not admin roles; covering GB-NI and NI-GB traders through the TSS programme on an overnight basis.
Target start: End of September 2026 to allow for notice periods and training arrangements - please include your notice period in your application
Hours: 22:00–07:00 | 9-hour shifts | 5 out of 7 nights coverage per week rotating rota 2 staff on per night | Consecutive days off built in | Weekends included
What You'll Be Doing
- Processing overnight TSS declarations and trader queries
- Resolving DMSQRY and CERTEX confirmations, standard GVMS fixes, and declaration errors
- Operating TSS Portal, CDS, GVMS and Government Gateway with full system access
- Acting under indirect representation on behalf of traders
- Scope widens as you are signed off across the full range of overnight work
What We Need From You
- Hands-on experience with TSS declarations and/or CDS submissions
- Working knowledge of the NI Protocol / Windsor Framework GB-NI trade rules
- Comfortable with GVMS and Government Gateway
- Authority (or ability to be authorised) to act under indirect representation
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
- Able to commit to a fixed overnight rota including weekends
