Overview
We are looking for a driven and organised Nursery & Greenhouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy site in Boston, Lincolnshire. This is a hands-on role focused on keeping the nursery running efficiently, ensuring orders are processed and dispatched on time, and maintaining high standards across the site.
Working with the Directors and current Ass.Managers, you will play a key role in managing stock levels, ensuring the smooth coordination of daily activities while consistently meeting operational targets.
You will be responsible for leading and motivating a diverse team, requiring strong leadership skills, clear communication, and a practical, can-do approach. From organising workflow and dispatch to maintaining the overall appearance and upkeep of the nursery, you’ll ensure the site operates safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys taking ownership, and can balance team management with hands-on operational responsibility.
Duties
- Oversee day-to-day nursery operations
- Coordinate order picking, packing, and dispatch
- Manage stock levels and site organisation
- Lead, support, and motivate the team
- Ensure the site is clean, safe, and well maintained
- Monitor workflow to meet daily targets and deadlines
Skills
- Previous experience in a nursery, greenhouse, or similar environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good organisation and time management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet targets
- Practical, hands-on approach with a positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Problem-solving skills and quick decision-making ability
- Basic knowledge of plants (preferred but not essential)

Pay: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
