Structural Steel Fabrication Welder
Enthusiastic team of Welders at Ace require 2 more experienced team members due to full order book, We are a friendly family run welding company thats been going to 35 years in Poole, Dorset.
Type of work completed - Structural steel frames for Care homes, Car Show rooms, Super markets, to small builders projects.
Contracted hours are 39 hrs with Regular overtime available. Monday - Friday. Hours available a week 50 hours plus. Paid Weekly. 2 over time rates available.
Pay will be assessed on a case by case basis.
20 days Holiday pay plus bank holidays.
Experience would essential. Codings would be of advantage and experience in reading drawings an advantage. Pay will be reviewed on persons experience.
You would be working as part of a team of other skilled workers, duties are often performed with minimal supervision so must be comfortable working independently in a factory setting. Other Duties will include:
- Inspect and test welds welds are checked for durability as well as meeting specified standards.
- Highly experienced in a variety of practices and techniques related to welding
- Operational knowledge of manufacturing and welding applying MIG welding
- Ability to use variety of tools and equipment
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read Drawings and recognise welding symbols and specification
- Knowledge of industry safety practices
- Using hand tools and Grinders.
You will need to enjoy working with your hands and have an analytical mind. Have an eye for detail to.
