Role: Mobile Chiller / Refrigeration Engineer
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 + Door-to-Door Pay
Location: London & Home Counties (Engineers considered nationwide – priority areas: Essex, West London, Reading M3/M4 Corridor)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week (overtime available)
We are recruiting for a Mobile Chiller / Refrigeration Engineer to join a well-established and highly respected specialist within the air conditioning and cooling sector. Being a significant player in the European air conditioning market for over 60 years, this business delivers commissioning, service and breakdown support on critical cooling equipment across the UK & Europe.
This role would suit an experienced Chiller Engineer with strong TRANE / Carrier knowledge, however strong Refrigeration Engineers looking to move into chillers will also be considered, with full in-house training provided on specialist equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Commissioning, servicing and breakdowns of chillers
- Fault finding and diagnostics on water chillers and refrigeration systems
- Service and maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning plant
- Attending reactive breakdowns and planned maintenance visits
- Liaising with clients and colleagues to ensure works are completed efficiently
- Completing service reports and compliance documentation accurately
- Representing the business professionally on customer sites
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
- F-Gas Category 1
- Proven experience working with chillers or strong refrigeration background
- TRANE / Carrier experience highly desirable
- Good understanding of fluid cooling and refrigeration systems
- Experience in service, maintenance and breakdown environments
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Customer-focused with good communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
