A well-established law firm in Worthing is looking to recruit a Conveyancing Assistant to join its busy Residential Property department.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous conveyancing experience who enjoys supporting fee earners, working closely with clients and being part of a collaborative team environment.
You'll play a key role in the smooth progression of residential property transactions, assisting experienced conveyancers across a varied caseload while continuing to develop your own knowledge and skills.
The role will involve:
- Supporting fee earners on residential conveyancing matters
- Assisting with freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Preparing correspondence and legal documentation
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and solicitors
- Opening new files and carrying out compliance procedures
- Ordering searches and Land Registry documentation
- Managing diaries and key transaction deadlines
- Providing general administrative support throughout the conveyancing process
