Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Clothes Presser to join our professional team. Responsibilities
- Operate pressing equipment efficiently to press various types of garments, including suits, dresses, shirts, and trousers.
- Ensure all garments are pressed to meet company quality standards and client specifications.
- Handle delicate fabrics with care, applying appropriate pressing techniques to prevent damage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pressing area and equipment at all times.
- Inspect garments for defects or irregularities prior to pressing and report any issues to management.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with additional laundry or garment finishing tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to operate commercial pressing machines safely and effectively.
- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of different fabrics and appropriate pressing techniques is desirable.
