Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer | £45,000 | Cambridgeshire
We are looking for an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join my clients team, covering sites from Peterborough to Luton (ideal candidates located around Cambridge). This is a varied role working across commercial sites.
Key Details:
- Hours: 40-hour week (8am–5pm)
- Van & Fuel Card: Van, fuel card, and tools provided
- Travel: Door-to-door paid
- On-Call Rota: 1 in 5 (Standby rate: £200)
- Sick Pay: Full coverage
- Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays
- Overtime: Time and a half (Mon–Sat) / Double time (Sundays)
Role Responsibilities:
- Maintain, service, and repair air conditioning systems across commercial sites
- Work on hospitals, water chillers, and occasional refrigeration tasks
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and quality standards
Candidate Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
- F-Gas Category 1
- Enhanced DBS
- Full clean driving licence
- Ideally 8 years’ experience
- Professional, reliable, and local to the area
