CLS, Contract Labour Solutions have a fantastic opportunity for Ground Workers to work with our client who is an established construction company who specialises in concreting works, with work taking place on a nationwide basis.
Pay: £900 to £1300 per week
Role: Candidates will be completing the following tasks.
- Carry out groundwork preparation including site clearance, excavation and levelling
- Assist in installing drainage, concrete formwork and reinforced paving systems
- Collaborate with plant/operators to place and finish concrete and ground forming elements
- Lay sustainable permeable paving systems to specification
- Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised work area
- Follow site safety and environmental procedures at all times
- Work effectively as part of a team and communicate with supervisors and colleagues
Requirements: Candidates will need to show following.
- Experience as a Groundworker (construction/groundworks background preferred)
- Valid CSCS card
- Ability to work safely with hand and power tools
- Good physical fitness and practical problem-solving skills
- A proactive, dependable attitude and strong teamwork ethic
- Willingness to work at different UK sites depending on project demands
