Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within our nursery facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all areas are hygienic and well-maintained, supporting the overall wellbeing of staff and children. Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting nursery rooms and play areas
- Ensure all surfaces, toys, and equipment are sanitised in accordance with health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of toilets, sinks, and kitchen areas within the nursery
- Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure bins are emptied regularly
- Restock cleaning supplies and ensure cleaning equipment is maintained in good condition
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or contamination
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential
- Familiarity with nursery or childcare environments is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and organisation skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices within childcare settings

Pay: £12.50-£12.75 per hour
