Team Leader
The Annex & The Malthouse – Tavistock
We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Team Leader to join The Annex, Malthouse & Yard Bar in the heart of Tavistock.
You'll play a key part in supporting our management team, leading shifts, inspiring colleagues and helping deliver outstanding guest experiences across two thriving venues with loyal customers, ambitious owners and a passionate team.

You'll be responsible for:
- Leading shifts and supporting the team to deliver exceptional service.
- Motivating and inspiring colleagues to perform at their best.
- Delivering outstanding guest experiences every day.
- Supporting the management team with day-to-day operations.
- Assisting with training and developing new and existing team members.
- Helping manage stock, cash handling and opening/closing procedures.
- Supporting events, private hire and smooth service delivery.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and legal compliance.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous supervisory or Team Leader experience in hospitality (or is ready to step up into their first leadership role).
- Leads by example and thrives in a busy environment.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Enjoys developing others and creating a positive team culture.
- Is proactive, reliable and solutions-focused.
- Is passionate about great food, drinks and genuine hospitality.
