We are a family-owned independent pub serving traditional homecooked food, with a strong reputation for quality, fresh ingredients and proper pub classics.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in hospitality and learn real cooking skills from an experienced kitchen team.
What You’ll Learn
Working alongside our experienced Head Chef Gary, you will learn:
- Food preparation and kitchen skills
- How to cook traditional homemade dishes properly
- Kitchen organisation and hygiene
- Stock control and food handling
- How a busy professional kitchen operates
This is real cooking — no microwaves, no shortcuts.

- Passion for food and cooking
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Kitchen experience helpful but not essential
