Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for all guests. Previous experience in hotel or janitorial services is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used efficiently and stored properly
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with laundry duties as required
- Respond promptly to guest requests related to room cleanliness or amenities
- Adhere to organisational standards and procedures to deliver excellent guest service
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and practices is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour are highly valued
