We are looking for an energetic person to join our Digital team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is excited by modern web technology, enjoys building things, and is keen to learn and grow within a small team.
The role will support the Head of Digital with web, app and digital projects, helping to build, test, improve and maintain digital tools and content across the business.
Our hiring process will be a little different. We would love candidates to talk us through something they have built, designed or explored, whether that is a side project, hobby, small tool, website or idea. This is not about having a perfect finished product; it is about seeing their curiosity, passion, problem-solving and how they learn and develop along the way.
What You’ll Do
- Support the Head of Digital with web and app projects.
- Help build, test and maintain websites, tools and digital assets.
- Troubleshoot issues and help find simple solutions.
- Turn ideas into small prototypes, tools or working features.
- Help improve existing digital processes and systems.
- Learn from senior team members and develop your technical skills.
- Bring energy, curiosity and ideas to the Digital team.
What We’re Looking For
- A strong interest in modern web technology.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- An interest in websites, apps, APIs or modern frameworks.
- Someone who enjoys building or creating things in their own time.
- A natural problem-solver who likes finding better ways to do things.
- Someone who is confident communicating, sharing ideas and taking notes.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Someone who is curious and keen to grow.
- An interest in automation and making manual tasks easier.
Nice to Have
- Basic experience with Git, command line or CMS platforms.
- Basic experience with Node, NextJS or JavaScript frameworks.
- Interest in design systems, accessibility or website performance.
- Examples of side projects, small tools, websites or experiments.
Pay: From £35,000.00 per year
