Summary
As a housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning communal areas within tenant homes and carrying out void works to prepare properties for new residents. This role involves working to a set cleaning route and ensuring all spaces meet our high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning of communal areas and void rooms to high standards.
- Conduct janitorial tasks ensuring hygiene and safety compliance.
- Support healthcare-related cleaning procedures as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness records and report any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Collect and safely dispose of excess rubbish from properties.
- Assist in the preparation of properties for new tenants or residents.
- Assist with basic furniture assembly and set up in vacant rooms.
- Deliver goods and materials (e.g., cleaning supplies, small furniture items) to various houses on your assigned route.
- Follow health and safety guidelines rigorously.
- Report any maintenance issues or health & safety concerns to the management team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or caretaking roles (Preferred).
- Basic DIY or painting skills (desirable).
- Full UK driving license.
- Ability to work independently and follow a planned route/schedule.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles.
- Knowledge of hospital or healthcare cleaning standards is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Reliability and a proactive attitude.
- Previous experience in supported living or social housing environments is preferred.
