Job purpose
The purpose of this role is to support E both and home and out and about to attend day activities, this can be swimming, soft play, sensory groups, and stay & play.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Taking E out and about and getting her food out
· Eating out with E
· Cleaning E’s room
· Personal care including changing E’s nappy and clothes
· Duties may vary from day to day
Additional Details
· We vape, we don’t smoke, pet free home. If child lock is on, you’re all good to go. We have a car seat. E has moments that can be challenging at times.
· E smears her stool and urinates on the floor every day, so we clean her room top to bottom every night.

Essential Criteria
· Attitude and approach are just as important as experience for us. The Carer must have worked with children with ASD. E is non-verbal yet is getting better each day.
· First aid training is essential. E has no sense of danger so constant supervision is needed, especially near roads etc.
Summary terms and conditions
· Hours, days and times of work: 6 hours per week in school holidays and weekends.
· Pay rate: £12.71 per hour
· Annual leave: The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work normally done during 5.6 weeks (statutory entitlement).
· Expenses: You will be reimbursed for prior agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.
· Sick pay: I do not operate a private sick pay scheme but provided you meet the eligibility criteria, you may be entitled to Statutory Sick Pay (SSP).
· Pension: I do not operate a private pension scheme but I will fulfil my statutory obligations via the NEST pension scheme.

· Background check: A satisfactory Enhanced with Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service check is required for this position.
