Bell is one of the UK's largest and most respected property services contractors, and we're looking for experienced Kitchen Fitters to join our growing planned maintenance team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on either our Bristol City Council Kitchen Replacement Programme or our Alliance Homes Kitchen & Bathroom Replacement Programme, delivering high-quality installations within occupied residential properties.

About the Role
As a Kitchen Fitter, your main responsibilities will include installing new kitchens and carrying out associated carpentry works, including fitting new skirtings, architraves, boxings, and hanging internal doors.
You will be expected to complete one kitchen installation per day. The kitchens are supplied fully assembled, with doors and handles already fitted, and the worktops are not mitred, allowing you to focus on efficient, high-quality installation.

Key Responsibilities
- Install new kitchens within occupied local authority and housing association properties
- Complete one kitchen installation per day to Bell's quality standards
- Fit skirtings, architraves, boxings and internal doors
- Carry out associated carpentry and finishing works
- Complete basic plumbing and drainage connections
- Undertake ceramic tiling and associated finishing works
- Carry out minor glazing, drylining, patch plastering and repair works as required
- Conduct snagging and finishing works to ensure flawless completion
- Deliver excellent customer service to residents throughout the installation process
- Maintain safe working practices and comply with all health and safety procedures
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience fitting kitchens
- Prior experience working on local authority or social housing planned maintenance programmes within occupied properties
- Ability to consistently complete a kitchen installation within a day
- Live within 45 minutes of Bristol
- Full UK driving licence
- Own tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to snag your own work
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable with strong time management skills
- Comfortable working at height and using a wide range of tools
- NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry/Joinery or equivalent demonstrable trade experience
- Full PPE compliance
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience fitting Premier kitchens
- CSCS Card
- Asbestos Awareness certification
- Experience using hand-held devices for reporting and job updates
