T&C is a growing business specialising in recovery and transport equipment. We are committed to delivering high-quality products and excellent service to customers across the UK. We are looking for a reliable and motivated Customer Service & Warehouse Assistant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in the warehouses, will be customer-facing and ideally have knowledge of the recovery vehicle industry.
Role Overview
This is a varied role combining customer service responsibilities with hands-on warehouse support. The successful candidate will assist customers with enquiries and orders while also supporting the warehouse team with stock handling, order preparation, and dispatch.
This role would suit someone who enjoys a mix of office-based and practical work and is confident communicating with customers while working efficiently within a busy operational environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience of ordering systems and Sage 500.
Customer Service Duties
· Handling customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person
· Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
· Providing product and delivery information to customers
· Assisting with quotations, invoices, and order updates
· Using Sage 500 effectively
· Supporting the Operations Manager as required
· Maintaining professional and positive customer relationships
· Resolving customer queries in a timely and professional manner
Warehouse Duties
· Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders
· Receiving and checking incoming deliveries
· Assisting with stock control and inventory management
· Organising and maintaining warehouse stock locations
· Preparing goods for dispatch and coordinating deliveries
· Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
· Supporting general warehouse and operational duties as required
Skills & Experience Required
· Previous customer service experience in a fast paced environment is essential
· Warehouse experience is essential
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Good organisational and multitasking abilities
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
· Good attention to detail and accuracy
· Basic IT skills including Microsoft Office
· Positive, flexible, and proactive attitude
· Forklift licence beneficial but not essential
