Assistant Nursery Manager – Halifax & Bradford
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Nursery Manager to join our team and support two thriving nursery settings across Halifax and Bradford.
This is a hands-on, varied role for a confident early years professional who thrives in a leadership position. Working flexibly across both sites, you will support our Nursery Managers in delivering high-quality childcare, leading and inspiring staff teams, and ensuring excellent outcomes for every child in our care.
The Role
You will play a key role in maintaining high standards across both settings, supporting day-to-day operations, mentoring staff, and ensuring full compliance with EYFS frameworks and regulatory requirements.

- Experienced in early years education and childcare
- A natural leader with strong communication skills
- Confident working across multiple settings
- Knowledgeable in EYFS and Ofsted requirements
- Passionate about delivering outstanding outcomes for children

Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or above (essential)
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within an early years setting
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to travel regularly between Halifax and Bradford
- Commitment to providing outstanding childcare and education
Desirable
- Level 5 or 6 qualification in Early Years or Leadership
- Experience managing a settings
- Ofsted inspection experience

Pay: £24,960.00-£27,300.00 per year
