Experienced Drainage Engineer
Salary: £18.00 per hour + Overtime + Out-of-Hours Call-Out Payments
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent - Must be experienced.
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Location: Candidates must live within 30 minutes of one of the following operational areas:

Due to continued growth, Drainfix Services Limited is looking to recruit an experienced Drainage Engineer to join our expanding team.
We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and customer-focused engineer with experience in drainage maintenance and repairs who can work independently while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and customer service.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Reactive drainage clearance and blockage response.
- High-pressure water jetting.
- CCTV drainage investigations.
- Drainage excavations and underground pipe repairs.
- Drainage pipe replacement and reinstatement works.
- Installation of new drainage systems where required.
- Manhole repairs and installation.
- Root removal and descaling operations.
- Providing accurate job reports and photographic evidence using handheld devices.
- Delivering excellent customer service on every job.
Experience in CIPP patch lining and full-length drain lining is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.
Essential Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Minimum 3 years' drainage industry experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience carrying out drainage excavations and repairs.
- Experience using CCTV drainage equipment.
- Experience operating high-pressure water jetting equipment.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible attitude towards working hours.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- CIPP Patch Lining experience.
- Full Drain Lining (Inversion) experience.
- NADC qualifications.
- Street Works (NRSWA).
- Confined Space Certification.
- High Pressure Water Jetting Certification.
- First Aid qualification.
- CSCS Card.
Out-of-Hours Call-Out
This role includes participation in our out-of-hours emergency call-out rota. Engineers receive additional payments for being on call and for attending emergency works.
