About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a growing specialist contractor delivering HVAC and mechanical building services projects across the commercial and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the full lifecycle of HVAC and mechanical projects
- Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
- Producing and reviewing technical submissions and project documentation
- Procuring plant, materials and specialist subcontract packages
- Monitoring project programmes, costs and resource requirements
- Managing variations, change orders and additional works
- Tracking project profitability, forecasts and commercial performance
- Attending client, design and progress meetings
- Conducting regular site visits to ensure quality, safety and programme compliance
- Overseeing commissioning activities and project handover
- Producing operation and maintenance manuals
- Providing technical support to clients and end users throughout project delivery
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience managing mechanical building services or HVAC projects
- A strong technical understanding of commercial HVAC systems
- HNC, HND or Degree qualification in Mechanical Building Services or a related discipline
- Experience working within a design & build environment
- Commercial awareness with the ability to manage project costs and profitability
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
