Pastoral Support Officer - You need to drive for this role
Sennen Education are looking for a Pastoral Support Officer to work as a member of the Pastoral Support Team in a supportive alternative provision in Manchester. You must drive for this role in order to support the pupils and liaise with parents and other supporting bodies. This role is long term with the opportunity to go permanent.

Contract or position start date - ASAP start through Sennen Education.
Mileage is paid at 45p per mile
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responding to all queries from a wide range of people in an efficient and courteous manner
- Providing information and support to young people and their parents/carers, enabling them to fully access the service, including arranging transport of PRU pupils and parents/carers
- Providing accurate and timely Information, Advice and Guidance to students, their families and partners to ensure appropriate levels of achievement and progression pathways
- Signposting service users to relevant services or pass the content of enquires to appropriate colleagues where necessary
- Attending and, when required, to convene Placement Planning and Review meetings and multi-agency meetings as necessary
- Liaising with partners and providers to develop appropriate personalised education programmes for individuals with complex needs.
- Supporting student transitions between provisions/ schools/ Key Stages
To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
- have a full, clean UK Drivers License and Access to your own car
