Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, including commercial, industrial, and residential settings. This role is essential for ensuring a safe and pleasant atmosphere for both employees and clients. The Cleaner will perform a variety of cleaning tasks while adhering to established safety protocols and quality standards.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial, industrial, and residential areas to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
- Execute floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing as needed.
- Conduct custodial duties such as emptying trash bins, dusting surfaces, and sanitizing restrooms.
- Maintain cleanliness of facilities by performing regular inspections and addressing any maintenance needs.
- Assist with porter services by ensuring common areas are tidy and well-maintained.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to carry out tasks effectively while following safety guidelines.
- Report any repairs or maintenance issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with floor care processes including buffing and waxing is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina; must be able to lift moderate weights and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
