Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Cocktail Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of cocktails and beverages, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant or bar experience is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety standards and responsible serving practices.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails and beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver exceptional service throughout their visit.
- Ensure all drinks are presented attractively and served promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to responsible alcohol service policies.
- Restock bar supplies as needed, monitor inventory levels, and communicate with management regarding stock requirements.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food safety, hygiene standards, and alcohol service.
- Handle cash or electronic payments accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment for all guests.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality, preferably within a bar or restaurant setting.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to serve guests courteously and professionally.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Strong organisational skills with effective time management to handle busy periods smoothly.
- Ability to work flexibly during evenings, weekends, or special events as required.
- A friendly personality with a positive attitude towards teamwork and guest engagement.
