Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team at a busy car dealership. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premises, ensuring a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for both staff and visitors.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous cleaning experience or an individual looking to develop their skills within the commercial cleaning industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising designated areas.
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of restrooms, kitchen facilities, offices, showrooms, Workshop and communal areas.
- Safely operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning products in accordance with health and safety procedures.
- Replenish consumables such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as required.
- Report any maintenance issues, defects, or health and safety concerns identified during cleaning activities.
- Follow established cleaning schedules to ensure all areas are cleaned thoroughly and efficiently.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude when interacting with colleagues, customers, and visitors.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking with a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe working practices would be advantageous.
- Ability to follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Experience using a floor scrubber would be beneficial but is not essential, as training will be provided.
