Stores Supervisor
Location: Near St Neots
Engineering Manufacturing
Monday to Friday | Early Finish Friday
Salary up to £18.00 per hour DOE + Bonus + Overtime
Our client is looking for an experienced Stores Supervisor to join their successful and well-established engineering company.
This is a hands-on role responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the stores department, ensuring stock accuracy, supporting production and leading a small team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage goods inwards, stock control and despatch
- Ensure materials are available to support production
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/MRP systems
- Carry out stock checks and investigate discrepancies
- Supervise and support stores personnel
- Maintain high standards of organisation, housekeeping and safety
- Work closely with Production, Purchasing and Quality teams.
About You
- Previous Stores, Warehouse or Inventory Control experience
- Supervisory or team leader experience
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Experience within manufacturing or engineering preferred
- Forklift licence advantageous but not essential
- Car owner / driver essential.
