Orbital Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Conversion Fitter to join a specialist vehicle business in Derbyshire.
This role would suit candidates with previous experience working on campervans, caravans, specialist vehicles, conversions, or bespoke vehicle interiors.
The company are looking for practical individuals who take pride in their workmanship, have a strong attitude to work, and are keen to learn and progress long term within the business.

The Role
As a Vehicle Conversion Fitter, you will be responsible for fitting and assembling interiors and specialist components within bespoke vehicle builds.
Duties will include:
- Fitting vehicle interiors and components
- Working with timber, panels, and specialist materials
- Using hand and power tools
- Supporting assembly and fabrication teams
- Ensuring high standards of finish and quality
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in campervan fitting, vehicle conversions, caravans, shop fitting, joinery, or similar
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Previous experience within specialist vehicle or bespoke build environments highly beneficial
- Basic fabrication or welding experience beneficial
- Strong attitude to work and willingness to learn
- Reliable and hardworking attitude
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
