Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Industrial Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and safety standards across industrial sites, ensuring a hygienic and efficient working environment in a precast concrete factory. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team to meet operational requirements.
Duties
- Conduct thorough cleaning of industrial equipment, machinery, and work areas using appropriate cleaning tools and methods
- Utilise hand tools and power tools to disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment as necessary
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks related to cleaning and upkeep of the facility
- Follow health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Manage waste disposal in accordance with environmental regulations
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Report any hazards or maintenance issues to supervisors promptly
Requirements
- Prior experience with hand tools, power tools, or construction environments is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good physical fitness, capable of lifting moderate loads and standing for extended periods
- Awareness of health and safety procedures within industrial settings
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety measures is preferred
