Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and appliances in residential properties
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential electrical issues and perform necessary maintenance
- Troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently and safely
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Ensure work areas are kept clean and organised during and after job completion
Skills
- Proven experience as a Domestic Electrician or similar role in residential settings
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance procedures, and safety standards
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
- Valid driving licence to facilitate travel between sites
- Customer service orientation with a professional attitude towards clients’ needs
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple jobs efficiently
Pay: From £18.50 per hour
