Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a local pub environment, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess good organisational skills, be reliable and flexible. PREVIOUS BAR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED, and personal license is an advantage.
Duties
- Serve drinks to customers efficiently and courteously
- Handle cash or card payments using the till system
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout shifts
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Follow all health and safety procedures diligently
Skills
- Proven hospitality experience or a keen interest in the sector
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks during busy periods
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing demands
- Personal presentation that reflects the professional image of the establishment
