Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate chef to join our cafe/coffee shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts, with a particular focus on presentation and be able to prepare food to the highest standards. As a cook/ Chef, you will be responsible for producing a variety of different meals ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This role requires creativity, freedom to inspire others , attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen .Must be able to work weekends.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and create a wide range of products .
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to create new recipes and improve existing products.
- Ensure all goods are presented attractively for display or sale.
- Adhere to health and safety standards throughout all stages of food production.
- Manage kitchens management plan
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a chef or in a similar role within a kitchen or restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills related to baking.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of baking.
- A passion for cooking and creating delicious products that delight customers.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.98-£14.00 per hour
