As Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring high standards of performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. Working closely with the Manager, you’ll help lead the team, drive operational efficiency, and cultivate a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Manager in all aspects of operational leadership
- Supervise and guide staff to maintain service excellence
- Assist with performance reviews, training, and development plans
- Oversee compliance with company policies, health and safety, and legal standards
- Manage scheduling, resource allocation, and inventory (if applicable)
- Take the lead in the Manager’s absence
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings both leadership and a hands-on approach. You’ll be confident in making decisions, solving problems, and motivating a team in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant management role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage staff performance and resolve issues calmly and effectively
- Sound understanding of compliance, health & safety, and customer service
- Adaptable, organised, and proactive under pressure
